NEET Under Graduate exams are the lone examinations conducted each year by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for students who aspire to take admissions in MBBS and BDS Courses in the medical colleges of the country. The official notification for NEET 2014 has been declared, but it is expected to be conducted in the month of May. This examination is held under the supervision of Medical Council of India (MCI), which upholds the standards of medical learning and distinguishes medical qualifications in India.
NEET UG 2014 Chemistry Syllabus
During the NEET examination the questions are from three major subjects – Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Chemistry again has different parts such as Physical Chemistry; Organic Chemistry & Inorganic is Chemistry. Chemistry Syllabus of Class 11th:
Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atom, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Equilibrium, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Hydrogen, Redox Reactions, s-Block Element (Alkali and Alkaline earth metals), Hydrocarbons, Some p-Block Elements, Environmental Chemistry, Organic Chemistry- Some Basic Principles and Techniques.
Chemistry Syllabus of Class 12th:
Solid State, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Surface Chemistry, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements, Chemistry in Everyday Life, p- Block Elements, d and f Block Elements, Coordination Compounds, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Biomolecules, Polymers.
