SSC Recruitment Junior Engineer Exam Syllabus 2014

Staff Selection Commission had earlier announced the exams for Junior Engineer Recruitment in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical department. SSC is going to conduct the exams for filling the vacancies (Group B) in these three departments.

Interested & Eligible individuals have to apply & give the exams. The final recruitment will based on the basis of performance in the exams. The complete details of the recruitment process have been explained below.

Application procedure:

Individuals have to make the registration online. The apply form has to submit along with an registration fee of Rs 100/-. The application fee can be paid through online mode by net banking or through offline mode by SBI Challan.

However, SC/ST & women candidates may note that they are freed from the application fee. The applicants would also be required to upload the signature & photograph on the portal.

SSC Recruitment Junior Engineer Exam Syllabus

Examination Pattern:

SSC will conduct the written exam in 2 parts: -

Part – A

This part will of 2oo marks. Containing Multiple choice Questions from subjects such as General Awareness, General Intelligence and reasoning and General Engineering (Civil, Electrical and Mechanical).

Part-B
This part will be about 200 hours & questions will be a conventional type based on General Engineering (Civil, Electrical and Mechanical).

Application Procedure:-

Interested & Eligible candidate has to apply online through the official website. Applications will be accepted only through online mode from the official website www.ssc.nic.in. On successful registration of Part-I, candidates have to deposit application fee. Part-II registration will consists of entering the fee details and uploads of signature and photograph.

All the applicants are suggested to take a print copy of their registration form, Challan form and registration form for their record.

Applying Last Date: – 21/03/2014
Written Examination: – 25/05/2014

Selection procedure:-

The selection of candidates will be based on the performance in writing test. After the result of the test qualified candidates would be called for interview round & personality test (100 marks). The interviews will conducted by the SSC & then list of final selected candidates will be declared.
